I'm Jennifer McCarthy. I have over 25 years experience as an Employment Law Solicitor and company Director. I can offer strategic advice and solutions for you or your business.
WHO I AM
I have supported over a thousand clients with employment law issues including, individuals, HR Managers, Executive Officers, and Business Owners.
My no nonsense support helps individuals and companies through difficult and complex employment situations, normally avoiding litigation.
CONSULTANCY & NON-EXEC DIRECTOR
I can work with you as a business owner or leader to demystify employment law and identify solutions to employee or HR problems. I can help to identify risks and build strategies to move beyond workforce challenges; with a particular specialism in avoiding litigation.
I can also offer fractional/non executive functions.
TRAINING
I can provide bespoke corporate training on a full range of employment & HR issues. My training gives managers, HR Departments & business owners the skills & knowledge they need to ensure they are compliant with employment law matters; and minimise the risk of Employment Tribunal claims.
ADVICE FOR INDIVIDUALS
I no longer offer employment tribunal, litigation, or settlement agreement services to inidividuals.
However, I can offer advice on general employment and contract queries covering a wide range of topics.
MEDIATION
Many employment disputes start with a breakdown in communication or relationships.
In addition to being a qualified solicitor I am also an accredited mediator. Therefore, I can facilitate disputes as a neutral 3rd person to help parties reach mutual agreement.
RESOURCES
I am in the process of writing a variety of educational materials designed to assist both individuals and employers understand aspects of employment law. These materials will be available shortly.
